Planning a Career

My cousin’s daughter is about to graduate from highschool this year and what an achievement she has done. My cousin is a single mom and with a small business, she was able to send her 2 kids in school without any help from others. I commend her for that.

Now that her daughter is going to college soon, she already have a career on her mind and it’s about beauty industry. My cousin wants to discourage her but she knows that her daughter loves the field so much. Who knows she might even send her to a cosmetology school in Phoenix if she likes to gain more knowledge and skills. I’m pretty sure she’ll do her best to study well to achieve all her dreams and goals.

This morning, I want an upbeat music to keep me alive this gloomy and cold weather. I found this new song "ONE DAY" by Charice pempengco and I think it is apt to post here. This is her new single along with "LOUDER".

Charice is really making waves in the music scene in the US now and good for her.

Optical Illusion

Stare at this object and is it MOVING? It's an optical illusion and it's only tricking our eyes and mind. It's this great? I showed this to my niece and she's very eager and blurted out that it was indeed moving hehe.I guess the reason for that is the static image and the lines. Ok, I'm getting dizzy while staring at this for a long time.

Surfing and Blog Hopping on Cold Rainy Days

Wow, it’s still raining up to now and the storm has kept me inside the house. Brrr.. it’s cold as it’s raining the whole day since yesterday and I believe that mr. sun will not be seen till early next week. It’s just to uncomfortable to go out but I had to later this afternoon.

The storm has made me digi-scrap for two days and it’s actually a good thing because I made and order 2 photobooks, yey!. I was also able to browse the net and go blog hop which I have not done in a long time. It sure is great to see the updates of my friends and to learn that one have been contemplating of investing on gold when she learned more about it at United States Gold Bureau. She’s been a SAHM for over 5 years now and is looking for a new way to earn and I guess that will be a good start.

I still need to read more updates on my other friends and see what they are up to now.
